Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The Steve Nutter Collection was culled from his personal files housed at his home. It is primarily composed of legal records, research materials, and campaign documents from his years at the IGLWU and Sweatshop Watch. Audiovisual materials include videos and photographs related to the ILGWU's various organizing campaigns. Smaller portions of materials from his work with SEIU and the Los Angeles Public Works Commission require additional permission to access.

Conditions Governing Access

The Los Angeles Workers Justice Archives are housed in the offices of the UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment. Select materials have been digitized and made available through the IRLE collection at the California Digital Library (https://calisphere.org). Original materials are housed at the IRLE offices in the Ueberroth Building (10945 Le Conte Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024) and are only available upon request by the researcher.
